Lisieux Trust provides residential care and supported housing to people with learning disabilities based in and around the Birmingham area.

We are currently looking to appoint the following:

Job Title: TEMPORARY SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER

Job Description: A Senior Support Worker is responsible for meeting the personal needs of residents, in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence, using a person centered approach. The contract is for 30 hours per week, working a variable shift pattern, including weekend work and sleep-ins will be necessary. An enhanced DBS disclosure along with references will also be required.

Job Title: BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Job Description: Lisieux Trust is a charitable organisation which supports adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. The governing body of Lisieux Trust is the Board of Directors. Our Directors are responsible for controlling the management and administration of the charity, in accordance with the organisational Mission Statement and its Aims and Objectives. Lisieux Trust Board members have experience in a variety of working professions and are united by their wish to create positive change in society. All Directors serve as volunteers. We are seeking new Directors to join the Board and guide the strategic direction, governance and development of our respected charity. The role requires someone with strategic vision, dedicated and passionate for the welfare of adults with learning disabilities. The Board meetings are held each quarter, usually in central Birmingham.

Job Title: PART TIME SUPPORT WORKERS

Job Description: You will need some experience of working with people with learning disabilities, and be able to demonstrate an ability to assist individuals live independently in the community. Support Workers are required to work variable shift patterns including weekend work and sleep in shifts. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS check.
