Lisieux Trust provides residential care and supported housing to people with learning disabilities based in and around the Birmingham area.

We are currently looking to appoint the following:


Job Description: Working within our residential service in Sutton Coldfield for 12 adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. This position is for 40 hours per week at a salary of £18,928 per annum. In addition to this salary you will also receive an additional £62.64 per sleep-in shift and £20 per night for on-call cover. As a Senior Support Worker, you would help to coordinate the support we provide for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism. This will include support for a range of daily tasks and activities including mealtimes, leisure activities and hobbies, volunteer placements or educational courses, taking medication, shopping, seeing family and friends and organising finances. You would act as a role model for Support Workers by delivering outstanding care and support. You would line manage and motivate our Support Workers; including helping to plan rotas, holding supervision meetings and being part of a management on-call rota. You can expect to receive ongoing support from your line manager and other members of the management team, a comprehensive induction and ongoing training opportunities. Job Description: You will have an understanding of working with people with learning disabilities, assisting in the care and support of the residents and tenantís physical environment and all aspects of daily living. There will be aspects of personal care. Salary: £7.83 per hour with exceptional benefits and occasional sleep-ins at £62.64 per night Hours: Applicant must be flexible, as the hours required are to cover support 24 hours a day, you will work on a rota basis throughout the week, including bank holidays and weekends. Job Description: Lisieux Trust is a charitable organisation which supports adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. The governing body of Lisieux Trust is the Board of Directors. Our Directors are responsible for controlling the management and administration of the charity, in accordance with the organisational Mission Statement and its Aims and Objectives. Lisieux Trust Board members have experience in a variety of working professions and are united by their wish to create positive change in society. All Directors serve as volunteers. We are seeking new Directors to join the Board and guide the strategic direction, governance and development of our respected charity. The role requires someone with strategic vision, dedicated and passionate for the welfare of adults with learning disabilities. The Board meetings are held each quarter, usually in central Birmingham.
