Another Round Of Strictly Come Dancing – Trust Style
Residents and tenants from across Lisieux Trust recently laced up their dancing shoes for a joyful and uplifting dance class, bringing together people from multiple services for an afternoon of movement, laughter, and community spirit.
The session was organised by Rosa (left, above), one of our enthusiastic residents, with support from Head of Operations, Alison. Helping to bring the moves to life was our wonderful volunteer Jemimah (middle with Nick right)), who led the group through a range of routines and ensured everyone could get involved — regardless of ability or experience.
This event is the latest in a long line of community activities designed to promote wellbeing, inclusion, and connection across the Lisieux Trust community. Whether it’s dancing, quiz nights (and there’s one of those next month), or creative workshops, our events help strengthen the bonds between residents, tenants, and staff, while encouraging new friendships and shared experiences.
Rosa, who plays a big role in planning and organising events across the Trust, shared:
“I organise a lot of events, and the dance class was one of my favourites! Alison took a picture of me not balancing — I was falling over! I’ve got two left feet, but I had a go anyway. Jemimah helped a lot, and dancing really helps people with well-being.”

We’re already looking forward to the next event on the calendar — and maybe another twirl on the dancefloor in the future!
