The  July Newsletter is now available, bringing together some of the most inspiring stories, achievements and memorable moments from across the Lisieux Trust charity. Whether you are a tenant, resident, family member, colleague, volunteer or supporter, this edition offers a wonderful snapshot of life throughout the charity and the many ways people are living enriched lives full of opportunity and choice. 

Inside, you’ll find the story of Support Worker James Carney, who has successfully completed his Level 3 NVQ in Adult Social Care, demonstrating commitment, perseverance and a passion for supporting others. You’ll also read about the charity’s appearance on ITV Central News, where residents helped highlight the accessibility barriers that people with learning disabilities can face when planning holidays. 

There is plenty to celebrate too, including the charity being awarded a Highly Commended distinction in the Employer of the Year category at the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards, alongside recognition for several colleagues who were shortlisted for individual honours. 

The newsletter also features a resident and tenant Q&A with Chair Paul Eeles, holiday adventures, community events, personal achievements, birthdays, regular resident columns and colourful stories from across the charity. From Minehead and Clacton holidays to theatre trips, volunteering successes and everyday moments of fun and friendship, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
