Francis House Staff Team Celebrated with Second Infection Control Award Nomination
Hot on the heels of celebrating three staff finalists at the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards, Lisieux Trust is proud to share that the dedicated team at Francis House has been nominated once again – this time for the Infection Control and Prevention Award at the Birmingham Healthcare NHS Trust Awards, which took place recently.
This marks the second nomination in just 12 months for the Francis House team, recognising their continued excellence in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for residents and colleagues alike. Infection Control Lead and Support Worker Donna Gustave has played a key role in this work, having been part of both award-winning efforts. Read what Mary had to say about her, below:

Registered Manager Mary Heap, who represented the Trust at the event alongside Alison O’Meara, Head of Operations, praised the staff for their dedication and teamwork:
“This award has been possible because all the staff team work so hard at keeping everything clean and follow infection control procedures. Teamwork makes the dream work.”
The nomination highlights Lisieux Trust’s ongoing commitment to safety and quality care and infection prevention, which all staff are trained in, is essential. The Francis House team continues to set a high standard through their diligence and professionalism. They have recently been the face of a poster that went to all care homes in the area.
Although the team didn’t take home the award this time, the nomination is a significant achievement and a well-deserved recognition of their outstanding work.
Lisieux Trust provides high-quality residential care for adults with learning disabilities and autism, empowering individuals to live fulfilling and meaningful lives, full of fun and choice. We are incredibly proud of the Francis House staff team and their continued dedication to excellence and the wellbeing of those they support.
