Lisieux Trust Announces Interim CEO Appointment
After eight years of dedicated leadership, Jess Alsop-Greenacre will be leaving her role as Chief Executive Officer of Lisieux Trust on June 5th.
During her time with the Trust, Jess has played a significant role in shaping the organisation, supporting its growth and helping strengthen its commitment to people with learning disabilities and autism across the region. Colleagues, residents, families and trustees have thanked Jess for her leadership, passion and commitment over the past eight years.
The Trust is now pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Emma Hodges as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Emma will be starting with us week commencing 18 May to do a hand over with Jess in her last three weeks with us.
Last month, the Board of Trustees confirmed that it intended to appoint an interim CEO in order to ensure continuity during the transition period between CEO’s. The Board will now begin work on appointing a permanent CEO and expects to complete the process by the autumn.
Emma brings with her nearly 25 years of experience in health and care, including 12 years working within a charitable hospice, seven of those as Chief Executive. She has a professional background in human resources and organisational development and has developed a broad range of leadership skills throughout her career.
Most recently, Emma worked part-time with Compassionate Communities UK while also running her own consultancy business. She is passionate about inclusion and community and is a member of the Royal Society for Public Health, reflecting her work in palliative and end-of-life care and dementia support.
Emma said she is looking forward to learning more about learning disabilities and autism during her time with the Trust.
Chair of Trustees Paul Eeles welcomed Emma to the organisation and said: “I am delighted that Emma is joining us to pick up the reins from Jess. myself, the Trustees and staff team are really looking forward to welcoming Emma and working with her. I know she has a wealth of experience and passion that we will benefit from while she is with us for the next five months or so.”
I would like to thank Jess for her years of service and wish her every success for the future in her new role. Jess has made a significant contribution to our community, and she will be sadly missed by everyone from our residents and tenants, staff and trustees. Thank you, Jess.
