On Friday, staff, managers, the Interim CEO and Trustees from Lisieux Trust Charity came together as one team at the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards, where we were proud to be shortlisted for a remarkable four awards.

The evening was a celebration of the shared commitment that runs throughout the Trust, from frontline support to leadership. On the night, the organisation received a Highly Commended distinction in the Employer of the Year category, recognising the culture and values that underpin our work.

Chair of Trustees, Paul Eeles, shared his pride in the achievement: “Knowing the team as I do, I was not at all surprised that the Lisieux Trust was up for four awards. My fellow Trustees and I are really proud of everyone nominated and thrilled to be recognised as a highly commended ‘Employer of the Year’ for not-for-profits in our sector.”

We are equally proud of our colleagues who were individually recognised. Alison O’Meara was shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution Award, Marie Bailey for Manager of the Year, and Romeo Stanley for Newcomer of the Year. Each nomination reflects the compassion, professionalism and dedication that define our work.

At Lisieux Trust, we support people with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling and independent lives. We work alongside people to build confidence, develop skills and create meaningful opportunities within their communities. Recognition like this highlights the impact of that work and the strength of our shared values.
