Lisieux Trust Hosts First Residents and Tenants Forum of the Year
We were delighted to host the Residents and Tenants Forum for the first time this year, bringing together representatives from across the Trust to share their views directly with Head Office staff. The forum provided an important opportunity for open discussions, ensuring that the voices of our residents and tenants are heard at every level.
Elizabeth Fruer, speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees, provided feedback and updates, reinforcing our commitment to listening and acting on the experiences of those we support. As part of the meeting, attendees were invited to share something positive that had happened to them recently, setting a constructive and uplifting tone before we revisited key points from our last forum, held around Christmas.
Looking ahead, we discussed upcoming plans and developments, ensuring everyone was informed and engaged in the Trust’s future direction. Our Quality and Compliance Officer, Michelle, then led a crucial discussion on Safeguarding, making sure everyone had a clear understanding of what it means and why it is so important in maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

We also took a moment to thank those who have contributed to the Trust’s newsletter, recognising the value of their input in keeping our community informed. Additionally, it was explained that the dates for future forums have been adjusted to align with Board Meetings. This change will allow CEO Susan to provide timely and direct feedback to the Trustees, ensuring that the perspectives of the Trust family are fully represented at the highest level.
These forums are vital for openness and transparency, two core values that underpin everything we do at Lisieux Trust. They are not just meetings—they are a key part of how we continually improve the support and services we provide to our community.
