May Newsletters Published – Including A Very Special Friends And Family Edition
We are delighted to share not one, but two May newsletters from Lisieux Trust.
Alongside our regular May newsletter, we are especially proud to publish a special Friends and Family edition, which celebrates the people who mean so much to our residents and tenants.
This edition came from conversations at our recent Friends and Family Forum, and we have been overwhelmed by the response. Families and friends have shared memories, reflections, photographs and stories about their loved ones, creating a newsletter full of warmth, honesty and pride.
The special edition includes stories about moving into residential care, building confidence, following passions, enjoying holidays, making friends and being part of the Lisieux Trust community. From Amii’s work with horses, to Tom’s dancing, Mark’s love of politics, Gayle’s long volunteering career, Emily’s canal boat holiday and Irina’s move towards more independent living, every page shows what support, connection and family really mean.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed. Your stories help us celebrate the achievements of the people we support, but they also help us learn, reflect and improve.
Our regular May newsletter is also packed with updates from across the Trust, including Jess and Elizabeth presenting at Birmingham City Council’s provider forum, a Q&A with Alison and Carole about the future of Lisieux Trust, resident columns, birthdays, trips, goodbyes and everyday life across our services.
Paper copies of both newsletters will be available next week.
