The sun was shining, the spirits were high, and the 2025 Lisieux Trust Sports Day was another huge success — this time at a brand-new venue, Hollyfields Sports Centre.

With glorious weather setting the perfect backdrop, hundreds of residents, tenants, friends, and family gathered for an afternoon packed with fun, laughter, and friendly competition.

Festivities kicked off with the ever-popular boys vs girls football match, a closely fought battle that ended 3–2 in favour of the boys. The girls took an early lead with fantastic goals from Sarah and Tori, but a late surge from the boys — including two goals from Duncan, one of them the winner — turned the tide.

Next came a relaxed but competitive game of boccia (pictured), offering a moment of calm before everyone tucked into a delicious buffet indoors.

But the real highlight came after the food: an energetic game of rounders that had everyone talking. Zena stole the show with a powerful hit — and with some speedy assistance from Support Worker Tom, who pushed her around the bases — she scored in spectacular style, met with cheers and applause all round.

Throughout the day, tenants like Nicola, Julia, and others were busy capturing the magic of the event, snapping photos for Lisieux Trust’s social media — including all the fantastic moments you’ll see on this page.

As always, the evening closed with the Lisieux Trust Raffle, where lucky winners went home with brilliant prizes.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, donated raffle prizes, took part in the activities, or simply came along to enjoy the day.

We’ll see you again next year — same fun, whatever the venue!
