Last night’s Lisieux Trust Pantomime transformed Sutton Town Hall into a vibrant, welcoming space filled with excitement, community spirit, and plenty of fun. Performed to a completely sold-out crowd, the energy in the hall was infectious from the very first moment, setting the stage for an evening no one will soon forget.

The audience were treated to colourful costumes, lively scenes, and endless laughter as the cast brought the story to life with enthusiasm and heart. There were huge cheers for crowd favourites Simple Simon and Stupid Sally, whose playful antics kept everyone smiling throughout. And of course, in true pantomime style, the wicked queen was met with loud, joyful boos every time she appeared, much to the audience’s delight.

The show was packed with plenty of songs, each performed with passion and flair. These musical moments showcased the inspired efforts of everyone involved and celebrated the idea of choice, with residents and tenants taking on the roles that excited them most and performing them with confidence.

A heartfelt thank-you goes to the Sutton Town Hall staff, whose support helped create a smooth and enjoyable event for all. Deep appreciation is also due to the Lisieux Trust staff, whose hard work and encouragement ensured the production was a shining success.

But the greatest applause belongs to our incredible residents and tenants. Their talent, creativity, and spirit lit up the stage, making the pantomime not just a performance, but a true celebration of what makes the Lisieux Trust community so special: being welcoming, inspired, full of fun, and championing choice in everything we do.
