Rosa Acts As Caller At Beach Bingo Success
Residents and tenants from across Lisieux Trust came together for an evening of fun, laughter and friendly competition at the latest community event – Beach Bingo.
With tropical decorations, refreshing pina coladas and plenty of summer spirit, the event transformed an ordinary evening into a seaside-inspired celebration. Players competed for prizes throughout the night, with rewards on offer for both a line and a full house – although there was one important rule. Winners had to shout “Beach Bingo!” instead of the traditional “House!”
After several exciting rounds, everyone enjoyed a break for ice cream and more non-alcoholic cocktails before the games resumed, with even more prizes up for grabs.
The event was suggested and planned by tenant Rosa, working alongside Alison, Head of Operations. It is the latest in a growing number of activities designed to bring people together, encourage social connections and support wellbeing across the Trust.
Reflecting on the evening, Rosa was delighted with how it went.
“It went very well, everybody came,” she said.
Asked what she enjoyed most about the event, Rosa explained that seeing people come together was particularly important to her.
“I like doing it because it helps people with their well-being,” she said.
Rosa also took on the role of bingo caller for the evening.” I did, but I was a bit quick,” she laughed. “I looked serious with my glasses on.”
The event was another opportunity for people supported by Lisieux Trust to spend time together, make new memories and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Rosa was also pleased to be organising the event alongside Alison.
“I enjoy doing it with Alison again,” she said.
With Beach Bingo proving such a success, thoughts are already turning to what could come next. While Rosa is still deciding on her next big idea, one thing is certain – she is keen to keep the fun going.
“I don’t know. We’ll have to think,” she said.
Whatever Rosa decides, Beach Bingo has certainly set the bar high for another memorable community event.
