Steering Groups Are Held
Last week we held our latest quarterly Steering Groups.
The three sessions enable Residents, Tenants, their friends, family, and Trust staff to have their voices heard. This means all stakeholders give their opinions on the present and help shape the Trust for the future.
The events began on Wednesday, with representatives (pictured) from our houses across Residential and Supported Living who brought the thoughts and issues raised by others in their houses to be fed back to senior management.
It was then the turn of staff, and in an overwhelmingly positive meeting, a number of points were talked through and explained. Minutes of this are then sent to all Staff to ensure total transparency – as well as having all their questions in the next edition of the staff newsletter, which will be in inboxes in the first week in September.
Finally, on Thursday afternoon last week, Residents and Tenants Friends and Family met at Head Office to offer their thoughts and ask questions of the whole Senior Management Team.
The events form a key pillar of the policy of openness that the Trust operates. It is vital to the culture that everyone can have their voices heard, be able to give their thoughts and opinions and have their questions answered.
