Emma Hodges

Chief Executive

Emma joined Lisieux Trust in…
 May 2026

The best way to describe what Emma does here at Lisieux Trust is….
Emma is Interim Chief Executive, so she works with Alison, Carole and the Board to make sure everything is working well at the Trust.

A brief summary of Emma’s background is…
Emma has worked in health and care for nearly 25 years in human resources, organisational development, charity leadership and palliative care.  She has been a Chief Executive before, whilst she was at a charitable hospice.  She did a doctorate part-time on how hospices were supporting people with dementia, and her children helped check spellings and punctuation as they were all learning that at school!  She’s been lucky enough to have some wonderful opportunities working with colleagues internationally and has recently co-edited her first book!  All of her work is about improving the experiences of people accessing health and care and reducing loneliness and isolation.

Emma is motivated to do what she does at Lisieux Trust because….
She believes everyone has the right to live their best life and be supported by the best team.

In her spare time, Emma loves…
Watching Formula 1 with her husband and sons, watching TV dramas with her daughter and reading. She is also a rescue kitten foster Mum

Three things on Emma’s bucket list are…
Seeing orangutans and elephants in the wild, seeing Lewis Hamilton win an 8th World Championship! to see my kids flourish and be happy.

Emma’s life motto is…
Be kind and curious
