The Winning Team
Lisieux Trust is thrilled to announce that our dedicated team at Lisieux House has won The Care Home Team Award at the Regional Finals of the prestigious GB Care Awards, held over the weekend. This incredible recognition highlights their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional support for our residents, even in the face of various challenges over recent months.

The Lisieux House team (pictured above, with Registered Manager Marie Brown holding the award) was acknowledged for their outstanding efforts to ensure the best possible opportunities for our residents, maintaining a fun, supportive environment that fosters choice, and positive outcomes. Their dedication, resilience, and teamwork set a shining example in the care sector, and we couldn’t be prouder of their well-deserved success.
In addition to the team’s award, we are delighted to celebrate two of our remarkable staff members who were also recognised as finalists. Charlie-Anne Gray was shortlisted in the Support Worker of the Year category, a testament to her compassionate and skilled work – which has recently seen her promoted to Senior Support Worker. Rob James earned a finalist position in the Newcomer of the Year category, recognising his impressive contributions and commitment since joining our team.

The GB Care Awards celebrate the “best of the best” in care across the Midlands, shining a spotlight on the incredible individuals and teams dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. As regional winners, our Lisieux House team will now advance to the national final in 2025, where they’ll represent Lisieux Trust on a broader stage.
There will be more from the team this week!
