I love going to musicals—it’s one of my favourite things to do.

Last night, I went to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert at the Birmingham Hippodrome with my manager Becky (pictured) , Support Worker Gary, and some of the other tenants, including Amii, Amy, and Tom. Before the show, we went for tea at Wetherspoons, and I had a full English!

The show was really, really good because it was hilarious. I loved all the funny bits. We couldn’t stop howling with laughter—it made it even more fun! My favourite part? The male dancers—they were amazing!

I’ve been to lots of musicals and ballet shows in Birmingham, but my favourite one was The Lion King. I’ve even seen it twice, once in London, and I loved every minute. I also enjoy circus-style shows like The Greatest Showman—I went to one in London last week with my friends Charlotte and Ruby and Louise who helps me sometimes, and we had a brilliant time. We even went to the National History Museum and saw the London Eye and Big Ben. I always wanted to see them because they remind me of New Year’s Eve.

What I love most about going to shows isn’t just the performance—it’s going with my friends and staff from Lisieux Trust, laughing together, sharing the experience, and talking about our favourite bits afterwards.

I love ballet too, and my favourite is The Penguin Café. It’s got all different kinds of animals, like zebras and monkeys, but my favourite was the penguins.

Being part of these trips makes me feel happy. I love it so much because it has all my favourite things and it helps with my mental health. I can concentrate on the musicals, and it’s good to get out and have fun.
