Trust Nominated For Four Awards
This marks the first in a celebratory week for Lisieux Trust, following exciting news that the organisation has received four nominations at the upcoming Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards.
Three members of staff have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to supporting people across the Trust: Alison O’Meara, Marie Brown, and Romeo Stanley. Alongside these individual nominations, the Trust itself has also been shortlisted for the highly regarded Employer of the Year award.
Reflecting on the announcement, outgoing CEO Jess Alsop-Greenacre said: “Being nominated for Best Employer at the Learning Disability and Autism Awards is a proud moment for everyone at Lisieux Trust. It reflects our commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive workplace where our staff feel valued, empowered, and inspired to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support.”
The Trust previously celebrated success in this category, having won Employer of the Year in 2021, a milestone that continues to reflect its ongoing commitment to high-quality care, strong leadership, and a positive workplace culture.
In last year’s staff survey, more than 90% of employees said they would recommend the Trust as a place to work, highlighting a strong sense of pride, teamwork and belonging.
The individual finalists have also shared their reflections on the news, describing it as both humbling and unexpected recognition of the dedication and consistency that goes into their roles. Each spoke warmly about the people they support and the importance of working alongside colleagues who share the same commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care every day.
More highlights and reflections from the nominees will be shared throughout the week as the celebrations continue, shining a light on the people behind this achievement and the impact of their work.
