Valentine’s Craft Session Brings People Together Across the Trust
Yesterday afternoon saw another successful get-together organised by resident Rosa, as residents and tenants from across the Lisieux Trust came together for a Valentine’s craft session.
The afternoon focused on making Valentine’s cards, but the main aim was to enjoy time together and have fun. The room quickly filled with colour, creativity, and conversation as people designed cards, shared ideas, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Alongside the crafting, each person was invited to choose a song to add to a love song playlist, which played throughout the session and added to the positive, feel-good mood.
Rosa (pictured below), who led the session, spoke about how much the workshop meant to her and others. She said:
“I enjoyed my workshop and I made my cards for staff to cheer them up, and it helps people with their wellbeing.”
The session was supported by Hayley, Deputy Manager, who assisted Rosa throughout the afternoon and helped ensure everything ran smoothly. Support workers Rich and Julia were also on hand, supporting residents and tenants at the event and encouraging everyone to take part however they chose.
The Valentine’s craft session was a great example of how resident-led activities can bring people together from across the Trust, creating a welcoming space filled with creativity, music, and plenty of smiles.
