October Newsletter Out Now
Our October newsletter is here, packed with personal stories, photographs and updates celebrating the people who make Lisieux Trust such a special community. From growing confidence and new friendships to exciting plans for the future, there is plenty to discover.
Meet Tim and hear from his family about his journey towards greater independence. His story explores the difference that finding the right home, receiving the right support and having choices can make, with some lovely reflections from his mum, Yvonne.
We also introduce the Good Lives Framework and share what happened when residents, tenants and staff came together to talk about their hopes, dreams and priorities. With tenant Rosa helping to organise the workshop, it is a reminder of why the voices of the people we support belong at the centre of everything we do.
Chief Executive Emma shares plans for a new Community Hub, bringing opportunities to meet, try activities and spend time together. There is also news of a visit from local MP Sir Andrew Mitchell during our anniversary year.
Our postcards and scrapbook pages offer a colourful glimpse of everyday life across the Trust, including theatre trips, cooking, holidays, celebrations and days out with friends. Catch up with Amii and Biscuit, read Maura’s latest report and enjoy photographs full of personality.
You can also discover how your online shopping could raise free donations for Lisieux Trust, find out about our Christmas card creativity and get an early taste of our 2027 pantomime, The Wizard of Oz.
Whether you are a resident, tenant, family member, colleague or supporter, we hope you enjoy sharing in these moments of choice, friendship and fun. There is so much to celebrate together.
Paper copies will be out next week, but you can read the October newsletter online right now:
